Yes -

We’re talking about the 2010 Football or Soccer World Cup Finals between Holland and Spain on 11th July 2010 at 10.30 am (12th July 2010, 2.30 am local time in Singapore) at Soccer City in Johannesburg, South Africa, after one gruelling month of tournament!

(I still remember traveling from New York City, USA to Niagara Falls, Canada on 11th June 2010 during the opening match, exactly one month ago.)

Spain just got through to the 2010 Football World Cup Semi Finals!

That’s a feat since 60 years ago (see ‘Spain World Cup History’ below).

It’s 4.39 am.

Sunday, 4th July 2010.

Barely half an hour after the last quarter -final match between Spain and Paraguay just concluded…

I have no regrets, setting my alarm clock and forcing myself to wake up at 3.30 am just to watch this last match of the

South Africa 2010 FIFA World Cup Quarter Finals

though I need the energy to conduct a ‘full day’ Day 2 of a Web Copywriting workshop tomorrow (oops… I mean later TODAY).

But it’s all worth it, having witnessed one of the most exciting penalty shoot out, NOT at the end of extra time, but smack right in the middle of the 90-minute regular game! (see ‘Villa Fires Spain Through’ below)! (more…)
