The MISSING Boston Tea Party…

I spent the last weekend in Boston and had a great time there (and also visited the Boston Tea Party site)…

There is so much to do here that you can literally spend at least a week here.

And… as the Boston Tea Party event had significantly impacted the American Revolution in the 1770s, I took the effort to walk to the site where hundreds of tea chests (of more than $1 million value today) were dumped into the Boston harbour. As the map indicated a Boston Tea Party museum and ship at the bridge (Congress Street), we were excited to ‘experience’ this historic event.

However, the museum and the ship were nowhere to be seen and there were absolutely NO sign posts indicating their thereabouts. Plus… there were not many people there, considering the significance of such an important historic event. What happened? We were totally puzzled… (more…)
